Key Accountabilities

You will work closely with the PLAYGROUND social, digital, creative and account service teams to implement digital marketing strategies for our clients.

  • Implement digital marketing strategies for PLAYGROUND clients
    Brief creative teams to develop and create engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter and Pinterest

  • Run client meetings to discuss media performance and strategy updates.
    Create and present digital media reports for clients.

  • Manage multiple social media accounts, including scheduling posts using a content calendar, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring and analysing performance metrics

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and platform updates, and adjust social media strategies accordingly

  • Collaborate with the creative team to create high-quality visual assets, such as graphics, videos and copy for social media

  • Collaborate with the account team to understand clients' business objectives and ensure that social media strategies align with those objectives

  • Monitor industry trends and competitors' social media activities to identify opportunities and improve social media performance

  • Conduct digital marketing audits to identify areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with the account service team to develop digital marketing strategies for upcoming months

  • Manage client deadlines

Skills and Competencies

  • Social Media Strategy: The ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies thatalign with the clients' goals and brand image.

  • Experience working with SEO, SEM, Paid Google ads/Social ads.
    Experience using Data/Reporting software.

Key Accountabilities

This role is perfect for an enthusiastic all-rounder with a keen eye for detail, who knows how to effectively support a senior team, but also take ownership and drive their own client relationships and portfolio of work.
You'll be working across a wide array of brands and managing client and partner relationships, media bookings, social media content & community management, creative development and production for brand development and integrated campaigns.

SPECIFIC TASKS

  • Lead and manage campaign activity from initial client brief to completion.

  • Drive client performance goals while meeting business performance goals.

  • Service multiple clients concurrently, whilst meeting deadlines, maintaining consistent and effective communication and ensuring projects are on client and business.

  • Provide a key point of contact for clients and respond with prompt effective written and verbal communication.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular face to face contact, meetings and consistent and concise written communication demonstrating strategic leadership and understanding of their business.

  • Possess the insight to identify problems and take measures to promptly rectify them.

  • Develop and have ownership of task and production briefs, timelines and estimates.

  • Coordinate with team members, suppliers and key partners to ensure consistent communication and clarity of project status and requirements.

  • Maintain weekly WIP documents and WIP meetings, programs, and an accurate record of client transactions.

  • Write creative briefs that leverage insight and contain inspiring propositions.

  • Generate accurate monthly client reports outlining financial forecast, performance of your clients, challenges and opportunities.

  • Effectively manage project budgets, estimating and invoices in order to achievebusiness targets.

  • Identify new client relationships and opportunities for incremental growth across your clients.

SKILLS & WORK ETHIC

Account Directors require people management skills and the confidence to interact with clients and deliver presentations. They demonstrate resilience and have the ability to work under pressure and outcomes for their clients and the business. They have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong inter-personal skills, allied with the ability to negotiate and persuade thinking.

Account Directors are naturally well organised in order to manage a portfolio of accounts, see that none are neglected, and work to deadlines. Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. They effectively manage financial data in order to provide regular reports on the status of client accounts.
